These costumes were designed for a dance piece that was choreographed to Billie Holiday's Strange Fruit. The custom printed fabric textile was designed by the costume designer and showcased names of individuals who were lynched due to hate crimes . The costumes were designed in 6 different time periods, showing both how far we have come and how far we have to go to overcome the racism in our nation.

These Skeleton costume were created using existing clear raincoats from stock. They were painted using a combination of Stencils, spray paints and acrylic. The masks were purchased and painted to match.

Designed for a school tour show based on the works of Moliere. Each skirt was built as a unit to contain the petticoat and bum-roll for easy quick changes done on stage by the actors.

The Moors

This collar was created for the bird character in the play. Each feather was constructed with several layers of sheer fabric with a wire sewn down the center to create the spine. They were then slashed to create a fluffy texture.

Each of the fairy dresses began with an existing garment from stock. Trim and fabrics were added to make each of the characters unique.
